Bugs?

    Everything is messed up since the new site was introduced. There is now no "view all" option and you have taken away the exact numerical ratings i.e. 3.78 for a given item. I'm frustrated and outta here

    Sounds like you're having a bad day! I would also like to see the exact numbers on the list page - we'll likely get to that shortly.

    Hi Larry, it's going to take getting used to. For some reason I can't do anything. I tried to post a review but all I get is an error message. Same thing when I tried to edit a video on my profile page. I tried it with both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. Still no luck. I feel like I'm locked out.

    Overall the look is great but I just have learn to navigate through it.

    Randy, there is a known bug with editing videos on profile pages, but you shouldn't be getting an error from rating. Can you please tell me what page you were trying to rate on? Can you also try clearing the cache on your browser and trying again? Sorry for the hassle!

    Larry, I was reviewing Canter's Deli on my listing.

    Also, I am going to show my complete ignorance right now but I don't have a clue about clearing a cache, in fact I don't know what a cache is.

    How many of you recall when Coca Cola switched to the "New Coke" in 1985? I do. The changes made here at Rateitall.com are just as disastrous and utterly foolish as the "New Coke" attempt. Why would Lawrence waste time, money and effort to totally screw up what was a wonderful site is beyond me.

    I think there should be a new ratings page that "rates" the changes made to this site. I know what my friends are saying...I just have the cahones to put it in writing. Opinions are welcome at stephen_desjardins@hotmail.com.

    2 major issues for this user.

    1. There is no longer a "create badge" link on item pages. Without that, users on my site can neither see ratings nor rate items.

    2. The RSS feed for my list (Spiritual Insight in Movies) is now alphabetical instead of highest-to-lowest ranked, and has a generic "buzz feed" title instead of "Spiritual Insight in Movies."

    If these two things cannot be fixed, RateItAll will no longer be useful to me.

    WOW, this new version really bites. Why would ANY company put themselves through all this work to screw a good thing up? It's all beyond me.

    And another, not insignificant thing: all the old ratings badges, with all that code embedded throughout all my webpages, apparently no longer work. Thanks, dudes.
