  1. This may ruffle a feather or two...

  2. Yeah, I thought the same thing. I talked to LM about if folks would find this offensive. He supported the idea of the test - and if you think about it, it's just a repackaging of ratings anyway. If rating bible characters and bible verses OK, why wouldn't comparing those ratings to crank out a compatibility score be ok? That being said, I fully expect to get hammered on this one :)

  3. Why would this cause problems? Why would this be offensive? I could say the same for other tests. I guess I just don't get it.

  4. Donovan, we both know that religion is one of those topics that get people throwing things. Its controversial in its nature even if the items are mostly safe.

  5. I understand that and agree but no more than politics...

  6. I guess it really does not matter as far as I'm concerned. I do not have a facebook or myspace page or the desire to create either. I have too many websites now that I've created.

  7. The main reason any biblical topics are "offensive" is because they tend to tell us certain truths that we don't want to hear, since we are all guilty. If you were to look in a mirror and really see you the way you are, it is likely you will smash the mirror. Same thing with the Bible. It shows us who we really are, and we don't like it. So we have to try end get rid of it.

  8. Oy Vey. Does everyone run around in perpetual fear of the wrath of God now?

  9. Is anyone here talking about the Wrath of God? Perhaps someone who's feathers are being ruffled? LOL.

  10. You know, its cute that you think you are relevant on RIA Imorovan, but psst.. you are not. You couldn't get under the skin of a dingo, much less a Corporal of Marines. If you want to keep trying, go ahead, but it will only make you look bad if you keep hinting at my eternal damnation just because I don't think like you do. See, religious discussions are FUN!

  11. "its cute that you think you are relevant on RIA Imorovan,"

Wow, you're a telepath too? LOL. On the other hand, do YOU think you are relevant on RIA? Is there any reason you bring up your military background in a simple exchange of opinions? Do you realize that the first comment on this blog is yours, specifically claiming that "this may ruffle a feather or two?" Are you trying to find someone to blame for your unpleasant religious experience? Relax, brother, military and religion do not necessarily exclude each other.

On the other hand, it's not my fault that my "funny" votes are endangering your supremacy, LOL.

    Peace!!!

  12. The ruffling of feathers is an observation of simple truth that I was sharing with Lawrence, not your silly ass. It has little to do with either of us and is a general condition that exsists any man and God come into contact. Call the Marine reference a qualifying statement, if you will. If rabid Drill Intructors couldn't crack me, poorly mustached people with a preposterous worldview can't possibly do much damage. By the way, telepathy on some level is a Jedi power, and Jedi I am, so maybe I am telepathic. Go ahead and taint the funny thing if you must, I guess. Its nice to have goals and if yours is being universally regarded as being preposterous, judgemental, and out of touch there is little I can do to keep you from realizing that. I can only measure my responses and keep my own ducks in a row.

  13. Read the thread again and check who us judgmental.

  14. Is calling me judgemental also a judgement? Careful, now...

  15. Also notice I said "if" in reference to your possible goals. Its really up to you in the end if you want to be those things or not. Your continued button pushing campaign can be called for what it is, though...

  16. That time of the month for both of you?
